About

Let’s face it, as the population ages, care needs continue to evolve. Providing effective home health services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) requires more than clinical skill, it demands a person-centered approach that supports health, independence, and quality of life in the home.

Hear Christina N. Topolewski, Ph.D., LMSW, discuss what quality home-based care looks like for individuals with IDD and how organizations can better equip their staff. We’ll dive into practical strategies to strengthen caregiver confidence, improve outcomes, and ensure your team is ready to deliver compassionate, compliant care in the home setting.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Recognize common care and support needs for individuals with IDD in home health environments.
  • Apply person-centered practices that promote safety, independence, and well-being.
  • Prepare and support caregivers through targeted training and education.

If you cannot attend the live webinar, we still encourage you to register, as all registrants will receive an email with a link to the recording and resources.
