About

Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) deserve to live healthy, full lives within their community of choice. Part of this right includes being able to express their sexuality in a healthy way and gaining knowledge around topics of sexuality. Oftentimes, providers and direct support professionals (DSPs) working with individuals with IDD aren’t sure how to support these individuals with their sexuality or how to support these individuals with their sexuality or feel uncomfortable addressing this topic.

Join us February 27 at 2 PM ET for a replay of our webinar, Supporting Healthy Sexuality for People With IDD, where Nellie Galindo, MSW, MSPH, and Rémy Jodrey, MS, LCMHC, discuss ways for DSPs to comfortably support individuals with IDD with their sexuality.

In this webinar, you’ll learn:

  • What topics to consider when providing support for sexual health and identity
  • How to identify your own values around sexuality
  • How to best support individuals with IDD when issues of sexuality arise in their daily lives

If you cannot attend the live webinar, we still encourage you to register, as all registrants will receive an email with a link to the recording and resources.
