About this webinar

This webinar will explore how leaders can create the conditions for staff to feel heard, supported, prepared, and empowered to advocate for themselves and their patients. Learn how intentional leadership, individualized onboarding, and clear communication can help build a healthier workplace culture and drive better outcomes for patients, staff, and the organization.

Patricia “Trish” Richardson is an internationally recognized nurse leader, speaker, and healthcare consultant with over 30 years of experience in business, nursing, and strategic governance. She is the founder of LeadWell Health Collective and currently serves as Immediate Past President of the North Carolina Nurses Association, as well as Treasurer-Elect of the American Nurses Association for the 2026–2028 term. Richardson began her career as a stockbroker and corporate accountant before transitioning into nursing, where her servant leadership style has defined her work. She is also part of the North Carolina-Moldova Nursing Collaborative, teaches as a clinical instructor at East Carolina University (ECU) and the Medical University of South Carolina, and will complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice at ECU in 2026.
