John M. Guercio, PhD, has spent much of his career researching effective staff training protocols and behavior intervention strategies for staff and clients in settings where severe aggression is present. He has given more than 500 presentations at behavioral conferences and authored or co-authored over 70 articles in peer-reviewed journals, as well as written several book chapters related to the treatment of intensive behavioral issues. He has also authored or co-authored 8 books. He is the Vice President of Crisis Services and Applied Behavior Analysis at the Arc of the Ozarks/Cornerstone Behavioral Services, where he oversees all crisis and ABA services across the state of Missouri for the organization.
